  
 This Odum sculpture was hand carved by Ashanti artisan Kofi Acheampong from Ghana. In this figure Kofi has designed abstract human figures twisting themselves around the base and supporting a pot with lid above. This could represent the need to work together to support our burdens. This sculpture is creative, unique and useful as the pot with lid can be used as a candle holder or place to store jewelry or spare change. This sculpture was carved from a single piece of Odum wood, which can be distinguished for its unique two tone coloring and markings in shades of green, grey or yellow.
